Time Travel Through Munich - The Overview Tour

Travel with us to the original locations of Munich's 850-year old history! The 850th birthday is celebrated in 2008! Picture and audio material make the moderation of the guide even more colorful and lively. We will meet Lola Montez and Ludwig I. of Bavaria on our  tour and make a detour to the dazzling Schwabing of the turn of the century. We will track the state visits during the Third Reich at the Königsplatz, see rare movie documents of the destroyed city center from shortly after the Second World War and watch the shocking pictures of the Munich massacre at the Olympic Games of 1972.

Munich as a film location has a lot to offer - as film makers like Hitchcock, Antonioni, Rosselini, Ophüls, and Fassbinder all knew very well. Those are for example "Lola Montez",  "Zur Sache, Schätzchen" (Go for it, Baby), "Men…" or "Sophie Scholl: The Final Days".
